����vlog Virtual School are delighted to be working with The Family Place to deliver four fully funded courses, specifically for parents and carers that are supporting Previously Looked After Children (PLAC) or those in kinship arrangements.

The Family Place service

The Family Place is a specialist therapeutic service providing assessment, therapy, training, and professional consultation to organisations including schools, colleges and early years settings. 

They provide therapy interventions for children, young people and families who have experienced early years developmental trauma, including adoptive, foster, SGO and kinship care families. All trainers are highly qualified clinicians and have deep understanding about the real challenges facing parents and carers.

The courses available include:

• Working with professional networks - Having your voice heard
• Understanding the impact of trauma on your child's sensory processing system
• Making sense of the impacts of early neglect on children - Overcoming barriers and moving forward
• Managing aggression in children and young people

How to book

Please note: there are only 5 places available per course, we will be monitoring demand via waiting lists.

By booking a place you accept the following conditions:

• ����vlog Virtual School will share the details that you provide (name, email, contact number) to The Family Place
• The Family Place will provide you with the zoom details to join the course you are due to attend (known as your joining instructions)
