
Professional accounts for the Community Services Directory
Information for professionals on our Community Services Directory and how you can register for a professional account.
The Community Services Directory professional accounts are an easy-to-use reference tool for practitioners, frontline staff and volunteers who regularly signpost to health and wellbeing groups, services, and activities locally and across the county. Having a professional account allows the user to log into the directory and access additional functionality and features.
Professional accounts
The directory functionalities and features for public users and professional accounts are outlined below.
Public access (without professional account)
- search by keywords or name of organisation, service or community group
- search and filter by type of support, location and free services
- search results displayed and pinned on the interactive map (only applicable if the organisation, service or community group offers in-person support and a location to visit)
- quick links to other useful directories i.e., district council directories, care choices, NHS service finder etc. on the directory homepage
- save to shortlist - quick access to favourite listings (shortlist will not be saved if the web browser cache is cleared before returning to the directory webpage)
- save, share and send directory listings with others by email
- view travel routes with estimated journey time and display google map weblink for directions (only applicable if the organisation, service or community group offers in-person support and a location to visit)
- self-referral webpage links for the organisation, service or community group (if applicable)
Professional account access (after logging into a professional account)
Professional accounts have all the functionality for public access, plus:
- save listing(s) in pdf booklet format to share by email or print
- save keyword searches and filters for quick access to regular and repetitive searches
- shortlists are saved within the account and accessible after logging in (shortlist history will not be deleted if web browser cache is cleared – shortlist is saved within the account)
- visibility and access to professional referral pathways, including Refernet (if applicable)
- service end date notifications visible for time-sensitive project or services to consider suitability to signpost or make a professional referral within the timeframe needed for support
