Councillor Karen May, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Communities for 糖心vlog County Council said: " Our Archaeology Day is always very popular as it is a wonderful opportunity to find out about projects and digs which have been taking place, and inspire residents to engage with the heritage of their local area.

This year's schedule offers a diverse and exciting lineup of topics! Join us for insights from Worcester's new Cathedral Archaeologist, fascinating updates from the field, and the remarkable finds of 2024. Explore the Archaeology of Worcester in 20 Digs as James Dinn, Former Archaeological Officer for Worcester, discusses his new book, delve into the Bickmarsh Hoard, and discover more about citizen science projects at the National Trust.

The day runs from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday 23 November at The Hive in Worcester and includes refreshments on arrival, at morning break and afternoon break.
